Upcoming Events

Sunday 26th April: Shropshire Tasty Trail

9am - 5pm

Together with Shropshire Festivals, Tasty Trail is all about muddy footprints, not carbon footprints!

If you love walking in the great outdoors, socialising, eating and drinking delicious produce, and supporting local, this is the event for you.

Walkers will embark on a 9.5 mile walk that will include three stop-offs, where you will enjoy a tasty course made with ingredients sourced from the local area, many of them, right here on Oteley Estate!

Monday 4th May: National Garden Scheme Open Garden

10am - 4pm

Overlooking Ellesmere Mere, our gardens first opened in 1927 when the National Garden Scheme started, and we’re looking forward to being part of it again.

Our 10-acre garden has some stunning features to explore, including historical features like our clock tower and walled kitchen garden. There’s plenty of woodland, with old and interesting trees, Rhododendrons, azaleas, a wild woodland walk, and stunning views across the Mere.

Free parking on site, dogs are welcome on leads, and our Farm Shop & Cafe will be open.

Sunday 7th June: Open Farm Sunday

10am - 4pm

Farming’s annual open day, allowing visitors to learn more about farming and the countryside, and farmers can shout about what they’re proud of: British food and farming!

Our farm is a mixed livestock and arable farm totalling 2,100 acres. Visitors can get up close with some of our machinery and tractors, meet and chat with our farm team, learn about what happens to grain grown on our farm, see some of our pigs and sheep, and also learn more about farming and its importance.

Free parking on site, dogs are welcome on leads, and our Farm Shop & Cafe will be open.

More details coming soon.
